What a wonderful week! Not only did my website finally go live but I also enjoyed an amazing visit to Swinton Brookfield Junior Academy!
The staff and pupils were so welcoming, I felt instantly at home.
I had forgotten my World Book Day outfit so threw something together at the last minute and went as Mrs Bucket – Charlie’s mum.
Each class listened and participated so well. The younger classes were spellbound by Toby Squirrel and Sammy the robot, in turn laughing and falling serious as the stories progressed I do love happy endings though so all classes ended well. Lots of pupils placed orders for books and I look forward to delivering those very soon.
