Hi, I’ve had a couple of wonderful school visits. In October I met years 3 and 5 at New Pastures school in Mexborough and in November I visited every class in Barnburgh school. I can’t believe how good the children were; they listened well, engaged, were enthused about reading and asked very intelligent questions. They were all a real credit to the schools and their parents. Encouraging reading is one of the best parts of my job and I look forward to more opportunities. Visits are already booked for next year, so I’ll update you as I go.
